We are proud to announce the launch of the David Neale Travel Scholarship to support students to travel to AForGeN meetings. For the upcoming AForGeN meeting taking place June 9th-11th 2026 in the Black Forest, we offer two scholarships of max. 750 Swiss Francs (around 810 Euros at the moment) for Master and PhD students. Please forward this information to potential candidates.
How to apply? Send a short motivation letter (max. one page, explaining why you want to visit the AForGeN meeting and what you expect as an outcome for yourself) and a short CV to the AForGeN steering committee by e-mail (sc[at]aforgen.org) until April 17th 2026. The steering committee will decide about the scholarships by April 24th 2026 (registration deadline for the meeting is April 30st 2026). The awarded students are encouraged to give a presentation about planned research or results at the meeting.
